Custom Built Units
Each SlideDrive™ unit is custom-built to match your door and space.
- Stain matched to your door
- Paint matched to trim or interior
- Multiple wood options available
- Unit size adjusted based on door size
Your system comes pre-programmed and ready to use. Simply install and adjust.
Installation (Step-by-Step)
- Step 1: Remove ONE bottom bolt completely from the floor guide so the unit can rotate.
- Step 2: Rotate the unit and position it at the baseboard where the floor guide sits.
- Step 3: Install the unit into the baseboard using the two long screws. These screws secure the entire unit — tighten firmly.
- Step 4: Rotate the unit back to the front position.
- Step 5: Reinstall the second bottom bolt. Lightly tighten both bolts (do not fully tighten yet).
-
Step 6: Adjust the unit:
- Rear wheel adjusts distance from wall
- Front applies pressure to door
- Step 7: Apply pressure if needed: Use a screwdriver behind the rear wheel to push it tighter, then tighten the bolt.
Sensors & Magnets (Door Stoppers)
IMPORTANT: These are your stopping system.
- Sensors install LEFT and RIGHT at bottom of unit (stationary)
- Magnets install on bottom of the door
These MUST align exactly where the door should stop.
- Door should stop RIGHT BEFORE top rail stopper
- OR stop at the exact same time
This keeps your system smooth and prevents impact damage.
Trim Guard (Optional)
A trim guard is included and can be installed on the bottom edge of the door.
Recommended for painted doors to prevent wear from the drive wheel.
