Is there a cost to join the network?
No. There are no upfront marketing fees and no cost to apply. You only pay when you choose to accept a matched lead, which is debited from your Stripe-funded TradepilotUSA contractor wallet — there's no cost for leads you pass on.
Do I need a paid TradepilotUSA Business Suite subscription?
No. A paid Business Suite subscription is not required to apply or participate in the contractor network. Your free TradepilotUSA contractor account is all you need to manage leads and jobs.
Am I an employee of Doorplace USA?
No. Contractors operate as separate, independent legal entities. Joining the network does not create an employer-employee relationship with Doorplace USA.
What trades and services are you looking for?
We route requests across door installation and repair, drywall and painting, cabinetry, flooring, decks and fences, patios and pergolas, general facility maintenance, and multi-scope repairs. If your trade isn't listed, apply anyway and note your specialty — we route by skill and location.

You do. You control your own pricing, scheduling, and which opportunities you accept. Doorplace USA matches demand to your business; it doesn't direct how you run it.
Do I need a license or insurance?
Requirements vary by trade and state. You'll be asked to provide applicable license and insurance information as part of your application so we can match you to the right opportunities.
What happens after I apply?
Submit your application, confirm your email address, and Doorplace USA reviews your service area and qualifications. Once approved, you get access to the TradepilotUSA Contractor Dashboard to manage matched leads.
Is there a long-term commitment?
No. You can stop accepting new leads at any time. There's no contract locking you into the network.
